SMS vs. Authenticator App

Once 2FA is enabled, every future login requires the second factor. If you use sirup4d on multiple devices (desktop browser and mobile app), you still enter the same 2FA code on each device—the code is tied to your account, not the device. This simplifies multi-device access while maintaining security.

Note: Two-factor authentication is also required when you initiate a withdrawal. Even if you are already logged in, we ask for your 2FA code again before processing your payout. This prevents unauthorized withdrawal attempts if someone gains temporary access to your logged-in session.

What Happens When You Receive a 2FA Prompt

When you log in or request a withdrawal, we display a prompt asking for your 2FA code. If you chose SMS, a text message arrives within seconds. If you chose an authenticator app, open the app and read the six-digit code displayed under sirup4d. Enter the code in the prompt and submit. The code is valid for 30 seconds; after expiration, we generate a new code automatically.

Do not share your 2FA code with anyone, including sirup4d support staff. We will never ask for your 2FA code via email, chat, or phone. If someone asks for it, they are attempting fraud. sirup4d staff only request your 2FA code in the official login or withdrawal prompt within our platform.

If you mistype your code three times, we temporarily lock the login for security. Wait a few minutes and try again. This prevents automated attempts to guess your 2FA code. If you lose access to your 2FA device (phone lost, app uninstalled), use your backup codes to regain access. Each backup code works once, then expires.

Tips and Troubleshooting

Store your backup codes in a secure location separate from your phone. Print them, write them in a physical safe, or save them in an encrypted password manager. Do not email them or store them in unencrypted cloud services. If you lose both your phone and your backup codes, you will need to contact sirup4d support with identity verification to regain account access—a process that can take several days.

If you switch phones or upgrade your device, disable 2FA on your old phone before setup completes on your new phone.
